First Annual Armenian Street Fair & Festival

From Saturday, September 11th to Sunday the 12th revel in a little genealogical fun when the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center of Watertown hosts Boston's first Armenian Street Fair. The Kermesse (a Dutch language term for the festivities that traditionally accompanied the anniversary of a church's founding) will feature an array of live music, art exhibits, cultural and historical showcases, and gourmet tastings from local vendors. The fun will run from 10:00am to 11:00pm on Saturday and from 12:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday. Tickets for a one day pass cost $10 for adults and $4 for children 2-12 (two day passes cost $15 and $6 respectively) - all proceeds go to benefit the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center. Visit their website for more information or to purchase tickets.
