Mercato Romano at Pesce Italian Kitchen + Bar

Fusion can be tricky when it comes to food, but when you're blending seasonal ingredients and classic Italian cuisine you can't go too far wrong. Every Monday night during the regular dinner service at Pesce Italian Kitchen + Bar, chef James Walter will take the freshest and most locally delicious produce from Portsmouth's weekly farmer's markets and use them to create a Roman style prix fixe menu. The Mercato Romano Menu, as it's called, will feature antipasti, pasta and two glasses of wine for $29 per person. As you might expect, the menu will change on a weekly basis to accommodate the changing New England produce.
